February training with AGPFI
February 21, 2009 - The demand to skills enrichment and competency has risen while the supply of employment has drop enormously worldwide. Philippines was struck with the same dilemma and stood high over contending Asian regions.
The Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company of Manila Inc. introduces a new player in its market share - “The AG&P Company of Manila Foundation, Inc”.
The AGPFI was fashioned to cater to the basic needs of the company in labor and corporate social responsibilities (CSRs) among others.
Seeking recognition to the 109 years of industrial competition, AG&P focuses at its reinvented image to humanities where the center of its corporate battle now lies in bridging gaps with the communities and people and the company, as AG&P President Angelito D. Bermudo terms it “Our most important asset is the PEOPLE”.
Bauan, Batangas – The center of AG&P Company of Manila Foundation, Inc. operation is Bauan, Batangas. It is situated in Barangay San Roque, 128 kilometers from Manila and 17 kilometers from the capital city of Batangas Province.
Inside the 68 Hectares of Batangas Heavy Forming and Fabrication Yard (BHFY) lies the AGPFI Technical School for Trades and Sciences and in the 8 hectare Barangay Bolo, Dormitory compound is our Pipe Fitting school.
WELDING and PIPE FITTING – a 45 days training, 360 hours of theory and practice, to students ages 22 to 45 (please see previous write up below on qualifications) commenced through an induction ceremony on January 30, 2009 and attended by its benefactors (Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing Industry, First Gas Power Corp., PSWDO, Tanauan City, Bauan Department of Education-DeptEd, Sto.
